  12.        bbiinn//wweeddggeedd  is the command script invoked by the    facsimile
  13.        server when a modem is deemed  to  be  in  an  irreparable
  14.        state  and  requires operator intervention.  This decision
  15.        is based    on the setting of the MMaaxxSSeettuuppAAtttteemmppttss configura
  16.        tion  parameter described in _h_y_l_a_f_a_x_-_c_o_n_f_i_g(${MANNUM4_5}).
  17.        The default _w_e_d_g_e_d script sends    electronic  mail  to  the
  18.        FaxMaster  alias     and  attempts    to disable any getty pro
  19.        cesses spawned  by  the    _i_n_i_t(${MANNUM1_8})  process.   In
  20.        addition    the _f_a_x_q(${MANNUM1_8}) process automatically dis
  21.        ables use of the    modem for servicing outbound jobs.

  23.        The _d_e_v_i_d argument is the identifier derived from the name
  24.        of  the    modem's    device file by substituting ``_'' charac
  25.        ters for    ``/'' characters; e.g.    _t_e_r_m___1_0    for _/_d_e_v_/_t_e_r_m_/_1_0.
  26.        The  _d_e_v_i_c_e  argument is    the name of the    character special
  27.        device associated with the modem.
